(Blog 7) Sleep shot

I never really realized how much people need sleep. it could be a rough morning or a restless night of sleep. It also could be the fact that they find the class boring. any possible reason could trigger the fact that this cold hard desk can remind any person of a pillow or a bed. they even drool on the desks, which is pretty nasty. either way, I find it hilarious to take pictures of people sleeping. I call it the sleep shot

(Blog #6) The Week Of Nothing

There are times where you get really into life. Am I right? Like, life just magically speeds up and you're so caught up in it, you don't even realize where your life is going and you let the "Flow" become the pilot of your life? That's like the complete opposite of where I am with my life this week. This whole week has been basically nothing but me, and home. I haven't done nothing big either. maybe it's because the weather. Winter is the type of weather where you don't dare go outside. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to do inside as well. What I found cool was when I caught up in my shows, I found this quote that stuck to me. "There's no such thing as someone who 'doesn't belong'. There will always be someone who wants you to be here." And with that, I'm off to do nothing

(Blog Number 5) It All Comes Together Slowly

Well, its November finally and I have come to think that it has been an efficient couple of weeks. I've had a lot of B.S. that has happened to me this year, but then again who hasn't? With dad finally giving me the thumbs up to go job hunting, having the youth leaders ask me to host the anniversary for the youth group, grades looking good for the most part, the list can go on and on. All that there is to consider is that my family is getting stronger.

Today, my youngest brother just came back from the hospital and I couldn't be any happier! Maybe I should be a little more on guard with this turn of events, but why should I let it sour my mood? Dr. Seuss knew what he was talking about when he said "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" Let's end this year off with a bang!

Outing Of The Year

Two teams of 10. Each member has exactly 6 members of each team in jail. 1 teammate on the west side, 1 on the east, 1 guarding jail and there I am giving orders and becoming a good leader. The score is 3 up and we NEEDED to score for bragging rights. How in the world did i end up hurting two people?

October 26th was the date. My youth group had an outing that i did not know about. With college approaching closer and projects due, there are more things to get done and not enough time to be going to Lynn and playing some weird games our youth leaders google'd. It got started at 3 which was good because that was around the time i showed up. To start it off, we were in teams and did games that i can't even remember but i was bored outta my mind. I wasn't the only one feeling it either. Our youth group has a tendency to not get physical at all and the games reflected it. Then something changed.

"Hey, Let's play German dodge ball!" Shouted Jimson, which was probably the greatest idea of the day. to put it short, it was a free-for-all with dodge ball mechanics and the only way to get back in is if the person that got you out, gets out. This went on for about of couple of hours and i saw a side of everyone that want to see others suffer. Even the little ones. I loved it! Capture the flag ended up being our last game and everyone was revved up. Everyone knew what they were doing and besides the argument over the line (like most people would because I've never seen a game where confusion happens in CTF)  It was enjoyable.

"Lina lost her wallet! Lina lost her wallet!" shouted the youth leaders. What? exclaimed everyone. we were in disbelief. I knew everyone had there competitive faces on, but not their criminal faces on. we search, we scanned, we did bag checks, and no a kitty wallet in sight. next thing you know, we ended up looking in the trash and Wahlah! it was there. What a way to end a day like today.
