Two teams of 10. Each member has exactly 6 members of each team in jail. 1 teammate on the west side, 1 on the east, 1 guarding jail and there I am giving orders and becoming a good leader. The score is 3 up and we NEEDED to score for bragging rights. How in the world did i end up hurting two people?
October 26th was the date. My youth group had an outing that i did not know about. With college approaching closer and projects due, there are more things to get done and not enough time to be going to Lynn and playing some weird games our youth leaders google'd. It got started at 3 which was good because that was around the time i showed up. To start it off, we were in teams and did games that i can't even remember but i was bored outta my mind. I wasn't the only one feeling it either. Our youth group has a tendency to not get physical at all and the games reflected it. Then something changed.
"Hey, Let's play German dodge ball!" Shouted Jimson, which was probably the greatest idea of the day. to put it short, it was a free-for-all with dodge ball mechanics and the only way to get back in is if the person that got you out, gets out. This went on for about of couple of hours and i saw a side of everyone that want to see others suffer. Even the little ones. I loved it! Capture the flag ended up being our last game and everyone was revved up. Everyone knew what they were doing and besides the argument over the line (like most people would because I've never seen a game where confusion happens in CTF) It was enjoyable.
"Lina lost her wallet! Lina lost her wallet!" shouted the youth leaders. What? exclaimed everyone. we were in disbelief. I knew everyone had there competitive faces on, but not their criminal faces on. we search, we scanned, we did bag checks, and no a kitty wallet in sight. next thing you know, we ended up looking in the trash and Wahlah! it was there. What a way to end a day like today.
